Sure it's a clickbait title but it changed my life. A job is way more than a paycheck and the reason people have emotional attachments to their job.
People are dropping out of the labor force because they are upset about how their job is affecting their social status, according to a new study. For many workers, a job not only offers financial security, it also affirms their status, which is tied to their position relative to their age peers.
There are a lot of similarities between sports and business. To be successful you have to work hard, maybe have a smidgen of luck and definitely have a plan to succeed. But what about "Talent?"
So it’s “Round 2” of me promoting sales as a career. The first time I wrote about it was right after 9/11 when I self-published “The Job Nobody Dreams Of.” Sold a couple copies, gave several speeches and turned around a few lives I hope. Now 20+ years later I am old, certainly wiser so I feel I can deliver the message even better.
